Classes

Murrini Madness

During this one (or two) day event, you will learn how to create your own murrini. Using Effetre glass you will create a design in cross section at the torch, heating the molten mass, and then pulling into a rod. Much like pulling taffy, this technique draws the design down into miniature, so you can slice the cane and add it to your work for fine detail.

Experience necessary. Only simple cane can be demonstrated in a one day class.

Sculptural Beads

During this one-day workshop you will learn how to sculpt a 3 dimensional figure or face using coloured Effetre glass rods and a minor bench burner. Some experience necessary.

Red Hot New Course

2 Day Lampwork Beadmaking

During an intensive weekend, the main focus will be beads. This beginning to intermediate course will include many decorative techniques, e.g. surface decoration, sculptural, clear casing, and pulling cane skills. Lezlie will assist participants as they experiment with the use of dichroic glass and silver foil.

Lezlie pays great attention to the needs of every individuals, so bring all your questions. Demos can be adapted to achieve your personal goals.
